The Library of Parliament offers guided tours of West Block (current home of the House of Commons, during rehabilitation of Centre Block) and the Senate of Canada Building.
Library guides spotlights the role and function of the chambers, as well as the art and architecture of these historic buildings. Each tour lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
Private tours are available for groups of 6 to 10 people, or small groups of 5 or fewer individuals.
Visitors should report to the Senate of Canada Building for Senate tours or to the Visitor Welcome Centre on Parliament Hill (for tours of West Block) at least 25 minutes before the tour begins to allow time to undergo security screening.
